HDPE pipe is a tough product that is widely used in various pipe applications. Municipal engineering uses large diameter HDPE pipes to supply drinking water and discharge wastewater. Many home users have installed a smaller size of HDPE pipe, which is usually used for landscape irrigation. Steps of a handsaw

Measure the required pipe length. In this measurement, the perimeter of the pipe is marked at multiple locations. Using these markers as a guide, draw a clearly visible line around the pipe. Use markers that are clearly visible on the pipe.
Step 2
Place large-diameter pipes in a securely supported and easily rotated position. Make sure that the part to be cut can be completely separated from the rest of the pipe without binding the saw blade.
Step 3
Start cutting slowly, making sure to follow the marked lines. As the cut deepens, you can increase the cutting speed, but be careful to keep the cut clean and square. If necessary, rotate the larger diameter pipe to facilitate cutting.
Step 4
Use sandpaper to smooth the finished cut and the inner lip of the pipe.

Measure and mark the required pipe length. Install a thin-cut plastic cutting or multifunction blade in a miter saw or chop saw.
Step 2
Hold the pipe firmly against the base and fence of the saw. Turn on the saw. Slowly lower the blade until it just touches the pipe. Passing a saw blade through a pipe is much slower than cutting wood.
Step 3
Use sandpaper to smooth the finished cut and inner lip of the pipe.
